The Berry Courthouse

The Formal Gardens

This beautifully laid out garden is carefully maintained by members of the Berry Garden Club.

It features a bronze fountain centre piece which is surrounded by a circle of beautiful yellow "Elena" roses and specially selected "David Austin" roses for contrasting colour.

The Berry Garden Club changes the display of annuals to suit the seasons.  The displays are possibly at their best in Springtime.

This garden is a show piece of the Berry gardens Festival held annually  each October and is visited by many thousands of garden lovers and tourists to the town.

The formal garden also displays a recently purchased "Statue of Justice" bronze as well as an avenue of Cherry Blossom trees.

The gravel pathways are lined with daffodils and other bulbs.

The garden also features specially located seats so visitors can enjoy it amidst the privacy of the surrounding leylandii cypress trees.
